There is NOTHING more frustrating than sitting around thinking about the thing you can’t do. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s how all our troubles began. “cant eat the apple…. can’t eat the apple…. can’t eat the apple…”
I know you’re here for real. I know you want to make a change for good. I know you are afraid that you might not make it. You will make it! Today’s assignment is to put out of mind completely the things you can’t eat or do and focus on what you can do to move forward. There is a limitless number of healthy snacks you can choose to prepare and enjoy today – you know you can eat as much veggies/legumes as you like. And there is plenty you can do to move your body. Make an oh-so-small positive goal for yourself and get it done. Cut up carrots for the week? Buy hummus? Walk for 20 minutes? Climb the stairs 10 times? Whatever it is. Set it. Focus on it. Get it done.
Today’s simple truth: Action drives out fear.
